Nudibranchs

More commonly known as sea slugs, the opistobranch gastropods are part of the Mollusc group. The dazzling nudibranchs are the best known member of this group. They have adopted many strategies to avoid predators despite their bright colors and slow movement. Some are toxic or distasteful due to various chemical secretions while other blend in perfectly with the environment.
